Close your eyes. Think about summer. Does it make you think of plunging into a body of water? We hear you. It’s not summer on the Hammock Coast until you get your feet wet.
Make a Splash this Summer at Pawleys Island
What’s your favorite water adventure? Banana boating, kayaking, scuba diving, or jet skiing? Surfing, paddleboarding, or swimming? You name it, and we’ve got it. And we have experts ready to help you learn.
For those who want to ride the waves, Surf the Earth is the place to go. They love introducing visitors to adventures on the water. Surf Camp is underway or sign up for private lessons. They’ll get you standing on a board in no time.
If you prefer to paddle, Surf the Earth offers kayaking and paddleboard rentals, as well as tours of the North Inlet. They can also set you up with a skimboard or bodyboard.
Pawleys Kayak delivers to your vacation rental or one of the area “put-in” spots. Rentals include everything you need.
For those who want to speed up a water adventure, book a banana boat ride, jet ski rental, or parasailing tour with Express Watersports in Murrells Inlet. It’s a one-stop shop for high-adrenaline water sports. Whether it’s sailing over the ocean by parasail or going under the water on a Scuba Diving trip, adventure awaits with Express Watersports.
Their parasailing service puts you 500 feet in the air for a 10 to 12-minute flight. Or cruise the local waterways by renting a Jet Ski or taking an Eco Tour. Banana Boat Rides puts up to six passengers on the ocean waves for a 35-minute ride through scenic Murrells Inlet.
Learn to dive with PADI-certified classes at Scuba Express, which takes students of any skill level. Their Discover Scuba class is a great way to find out if diving is right for you. Held in a pool, students learn basic concepts and scuba skills from pro instructors and Divemasters. This one-hour adventure is for ages eight and up.
Of course, you can always make a splash at your vacation rental. Most of our properties have community pools for guest use. Some even offer private swimming pools.
