Down Time

This home was perfect for our family. Clean, well stocked and great location. A small toilet issue was immediately resolved with one phone call.

Down Time was a beautiful spacious location for my parents,siblings and children to have a reunion. We loved it and would definitely recommend it and come back. The beach was right around the corner and was not overly crowded at all.

We enjoyed our stay at Down Time. The house was a short walk to a beach access which was great for our kids. We liked that there were plenty of towels provided and the kitchen was very well stocked. The driveway is large with plenty of room for multiple cars and room to park under the deck. The shower out front was great to rinse the sand off the kids and beach stuff. We had two families and grandparents and has plenty of space. We would stay here again.

We stayed at Downtime, everything worked and we had a great time. Be aware the bathrooms are Jack and Jill style. It was no problem for us. I would have liked to be able to use the upstairs porch more but it was unscreened, if I were to make a single recommendation that would be it.

Loved everything about this house! Very convenient location with access to the canal. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. There is even an outdoor lounging /cooking area with a TV. We will definitely be returning!

Our family enjoyed a long weekend at this modern and beautiful beach house, and we loved every minute of our stay. From the gorgeous and spacious house, to the short walk to the beach, it had everything we hoped for and needed. It was the perfect home away from home! We look forward to vacationing here again soon.

This vacation rental is first rate. The home is lovely and furnished tastefully and very comfortably. It’s location is only one block to the beautiful beach. There is a golf cart that comes with the property making the trip to the beach easy even with umbrellas, chairs and a cooler. The back deck overlooks the canal and a wonderful place to watch the sunset. This place is a great find.

Our family loved the spacious home on the canal so close to the beach. We launched kayaks from the dock and I read in the hammock. We grilled under the house one night. We had coffee outside in the morning and wine in the evening on the deck. The furniture is new and very comfortable. The walk to the beach is quick and easy, no fuss if you forget something. Outdoor showers make rinsing off after the beach easy to keep the sand outside. The management company was easy to work with.

Loved our time here! Beautifully decorated and furniture updates made us feel like we were at home. Comfy beds and plenty of space! Every morning we had a hard decision to make - coffee on the front porch or back deck! The house is perfectly situated with the canal in the back and literally 1 1/2 blocks to the beach. The canal is so peaceful whether sitting on the deck or the dock you can watch fish jumping and the pelicans. Such a perfect spot to unwind and relax. We didn’t even turn a TV on the whole time we were there. Litchfield also has some great restaurants and shops to check out. Definitely will be back!!
