Welcome to Eliza Clare, a beautiful 6-bedroom vacation rental located on Permit Court in the stunning DeBordieu community. This spacious property offers a perfect home away from home for your next beach vacation, with plenty of amenities and a gorgeous lake view.
Spread over three floors, the house boasts balconies on each floor, providing stunning views of the lake. The interior is modern and family-friendly, with a living area and a flat screen TV on each floor, WiFi, and cable. The property also features covered parking, a hammock, a corn hole game setup, a grill, elevator, covered porches, ceiling fans, stainless steel appliances with a gas stove, and a jetted tub in the third-floor bathroom. Additionally, a large mud room with a full-size washer and dryer and an iron/ironing board are available for guest use, and there is an outdoor hot/cold shower.
Guests at Eliza Clare also receive a SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP that provides access to both community pools, pickleball and dining. Club membership can be obtained through DeBordieu directly and is subject to a $200 per day fee. Additionally, a $250 VayK Gear credit is included with the home, which can be used to rent bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, and more. All gear is available for delivery the day you arrive.

The property was clean and maintained, the bedding was comfortable and the property management was very quick to respond to any issues that we had. Unfortunately, we had quite a few. There seems to be a lot of deferred maintenance issues such as rusted door hinges and running toilets. We could have lived with these issues but our two main complaints were 1) the owner kept the AC Nest control pad locked and we were forced to call the rental agency every time we needed the air adjusted. It was 76 degrees in the house when we arrived and never got to a very comfortable level throughout the week. Often times, we needed to adjust the temperature during the night when the rental agency was closed. This was incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable.
2)The house is located in a neighborhood that has it's own private beach access by golf cart and we purposefully booked this house for that reason. New this year, there is a code required for this access and the owners chose not to share the code with us. Please be advised that this house does not allow the access to the beach that every other owner in the neighborhood has (and allows their renters to do). It was unfortunate, as it made the trip to the beach more laborious than what we had anticipated. Had we known, we would never have booked in this location.
