Disappointing immediate first impression. Entrance was rusted and screen door was dirty. As we unpacked in the master bedroom and plugged in our electronics the items on top of the end table were layered with dust and the baseboard and floor area behind the end tables were also dirty. As I retrieved a dropped cell phone there was food and debris underneath the couch . Shower curtain liners in the queen and twin rooms were so old they wouldn’t seal the shower area resulting in water all over the floor. A service call was required to get all of the TV boxes working. The sitting room box was replaced and multiple remotes were discarded
The ocean front deck was awesome.

My recommendation would be a thorough cleaning and some low cost updating ( shower curtain liners ) . Attention to detail would bring this unit up to the advertised 9.6 rating

Excellent experience working with the Tidewater staff

We have stayed at Litchfield by the Sea in the same unit in the same building for several years. Everything is great, but this time on my travel checklist, I added a knife sharpener. The steak knives in the knife block were as dull as butter knives or case knives as my wife caused them. I sharpened them all on my last trip.

We have learned to carry down our Amazon fire stick so we can get YouTube and YouTube TV on the main TV. This time, last week, we were not able to get YouTube TV. Either the TV is sorely out of date or the Internet is shotty. I tried calling technical support, but we could not get it to work, so we defaulted to cable which is arcane.

The television needs to be updated. One can purchase an up-to-date TV with a far better picture and better capabilities from warehouse for only a few hundred dollars. This really needs to be done. The picture quality is drab and un colorful. This really needs to be updated.

When we first arrived, the powered recliner chair was completely unplugged for some reason. I plugged it back and it works properly. Also, the lamps in the living room were unplugged. I plugged them in and replace the bulb in one of the lamps.

Other than this, everything looks nice in the unit and the property. This time around, we had a horrific time finding a cart to move our belongings from the car to the unit. Maybe we just hit it wrong.

I did notice in the medians on Highway 17 in Pawleys Island looked shabby. They were overgrown with weeds and generally unkept. Don’t know what to say about this but state the obvious.

This was our first time visiting Pawley’s Island/Litchfield By the Sea. We loved it and will come back. We liked the privacy of the community, the beautiful grounds and location was perfect. Everything we needed was within 10 minutes, restaurants, grocery store across the street, etc.. Our condo was oceanfront with awesome views. The layout of the condo was perfect and very comfortable. The balcony was huge!! One of the largest I’ve ever seen. My only complaint was the cleanliness. It was dusty and the floors needed a mop. The jack and Jill bathroom was dirty with urine around the toilet as well as urine smell. Luckily I had brought Lysol wipes and went through and cleaned. The baseboard under the kitchen cabinets along the floor also needed attention to clean up splattered messes from previous guests. The frames and front door needed attention looking moldy/rusty/mildewed. Some of the lighting fixtures were also rusty. I think with some minor updates in the bathrooms, this could be an awesome place to stay.

We spend 4 nights and we couldn't ask for better accommodations. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. The beds were comfortable. The view from the balcony and master bedroom was gorgeous!

Our experience with Tide Life Realty was superb as usual.

Our property at LBS, was wonderful as usual, but much, much noisier. The roofing crew were busy at work banging out [replacing] the from green metal roof over the drive through, with their Mexican music, and noisy talking above the din of their working.

Then, directly above our unit, there must have been some significant renovation, including the replacement of major appliances. This lasted into the evening, past working hours.

In the master bedroom bath on the left vanity, there appears to be no faucet gasket. It's loose, and it appears there may be some leakage under the sink onto the floor of the under cabinet.

The condo was perfect. It was clean but also cozy and comfortable. The location was fabulous, too--right on the beach but also located in a community perfect for walks, runs, and tennis, but also just relaxing and soaking in the beautiful and peaceful scenery.

We return to our favorite spot at our favorite location at the beach. We love one to the Litchfield Pawleys Island area on the Hammett Coast and we love dealing with Todd life. We also love the one unit and we want to keep it good so we mention little items that require attention. The knives, particularly the steak knives are all accounted for, but they are quite useless. I would go buy some knives that are sharp to begin with and have a prayer of being sharpened by the steel in the wooden block. There is a towel stuffed in the corner of the sliding doors in the den to prevent it from whistling in the night. I do not believe the toaster oven works and if it does, the pan in it is nasty.

We were allowed to enter early which was great and didn’t even ask. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The management company was great with communication and had a repairman there on check in day to replace a tv and light bulbs reported by previous renters. The master was large. Only thing I would suggest to owners is updating it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cambridge 306. The condo is in a wonderful location, close to nice restaurants and shopping, and right on the beach with a perfect view. It is clean and comfortable and each bedroom has a bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed, although the countertops could use upgrading. The designated parking spot near the elevator is convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

We were very disappointed there were no beach chairs in the unit. The cable service in the 3rd bedroom was not hooked up so that TV was not usable. There is a chair in the sitting area that is reclined and no remote to bring it back to an upright position. There were several light bulbs that needed replacing. There were no hand towels in the unit.

Everything is good. Everything is well-kept. It’s an older property, which is good, because they built things larger back then. The rooms are bigger, the balcony is bigger, everything is bigger, and everything is kept up very well.

There was fresh paint everywhere. The balcony had been painted. The entrance in the exterior had been painted.

You can see evidence of hurricane Liam, where it comes through, but all of the beach access, boardwalks and stairs have been properly rebuilt. Everything was put back.

Great property and great rental people. Great people to have a relationship with. Thank you.

Nice property. I think they added some patio furniture. The sliding door handles were finally fixed. Big improvement: added cushion to master bedroom bed. Now sleepable and down right comfortable. Added much cushion. Now add similar cushion to other beds.

Add some WD40 to the front entrance. It’s a little stiff using the key.

Three bedrooms, three baths. There are a few issues that need attention, though. Bathroom door from bedroom with queen bed does not close properly. Floors needed cleaning. No pillowcases for three pillows and that was resolved quickly. Washcloths were scarce, not in every bathroom. One bedspread had several small holes in it. Balcony was a huge plus! Checking in at 3 and leaving at 10 was agreeable. Despite the above recommendations, I would stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at Cambridge 306. Very comfortable and well stocked kitchen. Hands down has the best ocean view of Litchfield beach. This was our second year in a row staying in 306. Customer service was excellent as was the communication. We can’t wait to return next year. (One side note...cell phone service was sketchy at times. Probably not all bad when you are trying to escape on vacation!)

Perfect oceanfront location. Very comfortable and well-furnished for 5 adults. Definitely would recommend this Cambridge Unit. Litchfield is our favorite location with many beautiful golf courses within 10-20 minute drive. The Litchfield Resort property is quiet, well-maintained and secure. Definitely a family beach. Also convenient to grocery stores, retail shops, and restaurants.

This is our third time staying in this unit. We stayed for one week. We had stayed previously and let the management people know that there were a few items that needed to be looked into. Doorhandles needing tightening up and things like that. They must’ve all been taken care of because we have no complaints.

The one complaint we do have is in the master bedroom, the king size bed is hard as a rock. Neither myself nor my wife can sleep on it. I have to sleep in the queen size bed in another room and we have to supplement the hard mattress by folding available blankets underneath the sheets on one side of the bed for my wife.

Either replace the mattress or offer a 1 inch memory foam supplement for those of us who need a little bit more support.

The spin cycle on the washing machine is very loud.

Also for wildlife photographers, the views are amazing. There are Osprey in the area at the beach and in the inner water areas of the property itself. There are also cranes and herons and many other birds for photography.

The deck was large and the furniture was fairly comfortable; there were 2 lounge chairs that were fun to relax in and listen to the waves. Everything was clean and fresh and decor was nice. parents' room adjacent to the kids' room was so convenient. The kitchen

We enjoyed our time here. However, the pools were closed due to COVID even though other pools in the neighborhood were open. We were not allowed to use any of the other pools in the complex.

It was also difficult to find working outlets in the unit, which was a bit frustrating. But the unit was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view and easy access to the beach. That’s really all we needed.

It was also nice that we were able to have deliveries (restaurant and grocery) easily without having to deal with gate access for them. We will definitely be back.

Litchfield by the sea is a nice development and the condo view was outstanding. The unit was a bit worn, but unexpected for a popular rental. The price was going rate for summer oceanfront in SC and comparable to a similar unit in HHI. The staff at tides was well above average, super friendly, and easy to work with. I’d say this for each and every person I worked with.

This unit was perfect for our stay! The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, everything was clean and quiet. The best part is the large balcony that overlooks the beach. Even on days that we weren't able to go to the beach because of weather, we were able to enjoy from the balcony. Would definitely recommend this unit, and Tidewater Rentals was great to work with.

My family and I had a great time during our recent stay. The booking process was good, and everything was explained in detail. What wasn't explained was fully covered in the material I was emailed to review prior to confirming my booking. Everything about the condo was nice and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with any dishes/pots/pans/utensils you would need for cooking & eating. I took advantage of their grocery partner to order groceries ahead of my arrival. That experience added to my happiness & ability to relax. The location was great, as we didn't even have to wear shoes down to access the beach with us being so close! The pools were closed due to Covid-19, which was a disappointment that I wish I knew about ahead of time. Unfortunately, there were no bikes available for rental during our trip. Make sure you make those arrangements BEFORE you come. The entire resort is bicycle and family friendly, so you will want to rent them! The entire facility was kept nice and clean. I would highly recommend this property, and we cannot wait to go back!

The unit's view and floorplan were fantastic. It would have been nicer to have a queen bed instead of a double bed in the guest bedroom. The kitchen pots & pans were cheap and awful to cook with. The refrigerator slide out every time you opened it. A little dangerous.

We were pleased with the location and cleanliness of the unit. The maintenance of the property could have been a little better. There were numerous burned out and mismatched light bulbs in the bathrooms. We were told there were beach chairs in the unit but there were none. This was brought to the attention of the management company but nothing was done about it. Our stay was shortened because of the approach of Florence. We were disappointed with the limited information that was given to us about the timeline of the evacuation and that the power and water would be turned off.The communication that was sent to us on Monday afternoon just said that a hurricane would be coming and they would probably be evacuating where we were. A sign by the elevator the morning we had to be evacuated was too little too late. It would have been appreciated if the rental company had asked if we needed any assistance with the insurance that we purchased on their website.

We travel to Pawleys several times each year and this is one of our favorite condos we have rented. The interior was clean, comfortable and spacious with fresh paint and flooring. Plus, there are multiple pools and of course the beach just steps from the elevator. The oceanfront porch is huge!
We already have it booked again and are looking forward to making this one of our regular rentals!
Working with Tidelife is just icing on the cake!

EXCELLENT! Great condo, great location, and nice area. Very easy to work with and very nice.
We enjoyed the Hanser House, fresh fish from Murell's Inlet, but our favorite was the beach!

An absolutely perfect condo! The view from the large porch is spectacular---no other buildings in sight in either direction---and the unit was squeaky clean and comfortable! No smoking and no pets allowed is also a huge plus! I highly recommend this place!

Awesome condo. Very spacious. Able to accommodate 5 grown ups and one toddler with extra room to spare. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Easy walk to the beach with multiple swimming pools if the little one didn't want to get sandy. Plan to return next year if able.
