This beautiful home sits about as close to the ocean as you can get. Amazing views, fully equipped kitchen, immaculate spacious accommodations, and so much more. Located between Pawleys Island and Georgetown. We loved our week at the beach and will be back.

The upstairs A/C unit was out for the first three days of our stay which made for a few uncomfortable nights, but the TideLife staff was very responsive and the owner made an accommodation for our troubles, which we very much appreciated. Otherwise, we had a wonderful vacation. This was our second stay at High Cotton, which is in a perfect location. We love DeBordieu and have been vacationing there for ~20 years. The house was clean, well-appointed, and well-maintained. High Cotton perfectly fits our family's needs. We hope to return again.

We completely fell in love with everything about this house. It was immaculate upon arrival and had everything we needed for our family. You also can’t beat the location as it’s perfectly placed steps away from water. We watched beautiful sunrises with dolphins playing in the water, and then the dramatic shift of a storm coming in off the back porch. A short walk from the house gets you to the wildlife preserve area of beach which is so serene. Very hard place to leave and we will definitely be returning as often as possible.

Once again, our vacation at Debordieu staying at the Steele House was exceptional! Perfect weather, gorgeous home, lots of sharks teeth and absolutely no jellyfish! The house is so very well stocked and absolutely beautiful; it makes it hard to leave to return home!

We stayed for five days and the house was well equipped with towels, toilet paper, kitchen pots and pans including coffee cups, glasses and dishware. All the basics were provided.
The house is right on the ocean and it has an outdoor shower at the bottom of the house. There was only one thing missing and that was a gas grill and since the house rules don't allow charcoal grilling, we had to fry or bake our meals. The community is very upscale and mostly everyone stays to themselves. The pool was very clean and Tiki Bar had delicious finger foods and adult beverages. This was one of the best rentals we have stayed in and at different times during our stay, we had as many as 15 family members sleeping over. Excellent Property!

Idyllic beachfront property. This awesome house, with immediate access to the incredible beach, made for a wonderful location for our "all" family vacation.

By far the best family vacation ever! This home is superb as well as Suzanne and her staff. Simply put the best of the best! Next year we will eat every meal at the house and never leave. There is no need to leave, you have everything you need at the home and it's so lovely you really don't want to go anywhere. Our grand babies loved riding around on the golf cart and looking at the deer, rabbits, alligators and flying fish. The newest member of our family proposed to our daughter on the beach with us over looking from the balcony while the dads were sneaking around playing paparazzi. Beautiful memories were made and we cannot wait to go back next year! Thank you Suzanne and staff for this home and your service.

PERFECT HOME especially if you need special-needs-accessibilities as we do. All our 3 children, spouses and 4 grandchildren together in a wonderful setting right on the beach...nothing was left to be desired...and would recommend the home and managing services without question?

We had friends join us this time for a few days, and they were also impressed with the home, view and super location to great restaurants. Our only suggestion is one we offered last time, and that's to find a way to keep the smaller area rugs clean between bookings. The owners of Steele have really nice belongings in the house, and the small area rugs need to be maintained...especially the one in front of the kitchen sink. Otherwise, this home and Tidelife still get top reviews from us!

The Steele House is absolutely beautiful! The layout is perfect, and it is conveniently located right on the beach. The owners obviously take great care of the house and have added many useful amenities. It is so much more than a beach house - it looks like a move-in ready home. Also, the elevator was a nice bonus!
The Debordieu Community is nice, private, secure, and quiet. The beach is very rustic.
Suzanne at TideLife is absolutely the best! She is extremely knowledgeable about the area as well as her rental properties. She is professional and very concerned with ensuring that her customers find the right rental property to meet their needs.

My family of grandmother, children and 2 year girls loved this house. The pictures cannot duplicate the wonderful views from the kitchen of the lovely ocean. Walking was perfect and I have never been to an Atlantic beach with sooo many shells. I am hoping to return in the fall and again for a springtime week!!

Steele House is a gorgeous oceanfront property in excellent condition. But, even the best homes can occasionally have an this case, the HVAC. All it took was one call to Tidelife, and someone was at the house within the hour. Having rented in this area for years, through various agencies, the response time from Tidelife was impressive! Suzanne was even open to some of my suggestions concerning the house. This was a much needed, quick getaway made all the better by house being in such great condition, it's location right on the beach, and Tidelife! We are returning to Steele later this summer! My only remaining recommendation is when no one is in the house for several days prior to the next vacationers that someone do a quick sweep of the house for bugs since those are in abundance at the beach, and remember to clean area rugs and carpets of stains. All in all, this was a wonderful experience.
