Island House

We stayed here for our son’s wedding. We cannot say enough about the memories we made with all the groomsmen in this house. We were a 2 minute walk to the beach, and had beach rental items there when we arrived. The house was clean, lots of towels , and the kitchen was well equipped, supplied with dishes, coffee maker etc. We had a wonderful time and can’t say enough about this house. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay here. We would also recommend Tidelife Vacation Rental, they were kind and hospitable. They all were a 10!!

We were lucky enough to stay at Island House in February for a month and had a wonderful stay. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. The location is awesome. Only 1/2 block from the beach which you can access via the boardwalk. The neighborhood is lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs. The hurricane did ruin the bikes and beach chairs so just an fyi. Hope they will be replaced at some point. TideLife was very easy to work with and addressed our few and small concerns quickly. Would highly recommend.

This is the second year we’ve stayed in this house and it’s very convenient to the beach as well as being very comfortable for a family of eight. The kitchen could not be better equipped-in fact there is more cookware here than I have at home. We have loved the bike trails as well as the privacy of the beach. The golf course is excellent. We’ve eaten at the Rustic Table each year and have not been disappointed-delicious food wonderful service!

The house is in a great location-you can actually hear the surf from the front yard when the tide is in. Driving into DeBordieu is like entering another world of peace and serenity-truly a restful place. This is our fifth time at Pawleys and our favorite of the rentals we've had- we liked it so much. we've reserved for next year already.

This was our 4th year renting Island House. We have two Bulldogs and two kids—Island house is just right in a beautiful spot in Debordieu. I would say that over the 4 stays, more items have needed refreshing and repaired. Maybe just going over it at the end of the season and assessing. Landscaping is beautiful and house is very comfortable. I absolutely recommend it.

Island House is very spacious and ideally located. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was in excellent working order. My only suggestion would be that overall the house could use a refresh. It’s looking a little tired:)

Island House was perfect for our family of six! Located in a lovely neighborhood, three minute walk to a nice secluded beach area. The house felt like home, stocked with everything we needed. Rental company was easy to work with and responsive to all my questions. Bonus points for welcoming my sweet small dogs! I could live here year round.

This is our 5th year to rent Island House. We love the house, the location, the neighbors, and that is in deBordieu. We always have such a good experience with anyone we deal with at Tidelife. Our 2 main contacts are Kamra and Suzanne. Island House is always very clean when we arrive. We love being so close to the beach and a woods trail for walking our Grace. We walk the beach everyday and ride the beach cruisers all over deBordieu. The front porch with its rocking chairs is a big hangout for us.

We had a great visit. I loved the location of the property and access to the golf club was a big benefit for me. I would stay here again for the location and that benefit alone!

The Island House is a lovely house in DeBordieu just a short walk(even shorter bike ride) from the beach. This is not your typical bare bones beach house. It is a nicely appointed home with a fully equipped kitchen etc. You feel like you're staying at a family home not a rental.

Wonderful week in Island House-we lucked into beach weather!!! The property is perfect for a family as there were beach chairs, bikes, and video entertainment that served as "extras" in a convenient location near the beach. We had some light bulbs out which were fixed that same day.

Alright, this was our first time in Myrtle and we could not have had a better place to stay. There were 7 adults, 2 teens and 2 really small children. We had PLENTY of space. We were about a block from the beach and a block from two pools! Could not have asked for a better location. Not sure if we’ll get back to Myrtle again, but if we do I know where we’re staying! The management company could NOT have been more helpful!

We are there to enjoy the beach not to stay inside on the internet but we do know that in 2018, that's just part of a daily routine :)

The house is perfect for my family. This was our second year in a row renting and we will be back.

The house was the perfect size and set up for our entire family! The decor and layout was ideal! Plenty of rooms, beds, bathrooms, dishes for preparing and serving meals, etc. However, there were no extra sheets/pillow cases in closets for the pullouts; found a set on the table in the master bedroom the day of our departure. We were a bit disappointed in the weather but that's nothing that can be predicted or controlled. Also a bit disappointed in not having a hot tub on site yet the property description lists a hot tub! Other than that, this is the perfect home for large families to gather for vacations together! P.S. There is a slight leak in either the toilet or the shower directly above the round glass top dining table downstairs. It wasn't a huge drip so we didn't consider it an emergency but do want to let y'all know about it.

I called Tidelife's office in July 2016, inquiring about renting Island House for the 4th of July week in 2017. From the moment they said "hello" the staff was informative, extremely polite, accommodating and friendly. It was a seemless process from start to finish.

Great vacation. We love Debordieu and Island House was perfect for our family. We love the location of the house and access to the pool and golf. Despite the rain, we were able to fill our time with games provided by the house and lots of golf cart rides. They only feedback I would give is related to the linens - the sheets were not the best and we only were provided one wash cloth and towel for the kitchen. We had plenty of bath towels. We will definitely be booking again.

We had a wonderful week in this home. It's close to the beach where we spent most of our time. A few bonuses that aren't mentioned in the rental description include an ice maker (a must for beverages on the beach) and a jacuzzi bath tub for a relaxing soak at the end of the day. We loved the nature walk where we saw alligators, nesting blue herons, an eagle, tortoises and much more.
Charleston is an easy drive away, and we enjoyed spending a day in that beautiful town and taking in its history. We are already planning our next visit and can't wait to go back!

We spent a month and a half at Island House in DeBordieu. Our stay began well with a nice homey chat with the Tidelife staff when we checked in. They made us feel right at home from the start and the feeling only got stronger as the stay progressed. The house is just a half block walk to the beach. We walked the beach every day and rode bikes(supplied with the house) on the community cart/bike paths every evening. The kitchen was fully supplied with all cooking/dining utensils we needed plus an excellent stainless steel barbecue grill in the back yard. The house was very beach friendly with hard surfaces that were easy to keep clean of sand.

Overall our experience was everything we hoped for and more. We highly recommend Tidelife Vacation Rentals and the Island House.

This is a really cute rental house within an easy walk to the beach and the Debordieu beach club. It is well provisioned for everything you might need. glad to find a pet friendly rental. Only suggestion is that upholstery and bed covers need to be cleaned. Old blankets (etc) could be provided for unruly two and four footed guests.

We came to DeBordieu to celebrate a wedding... we were so happy we decided to rent from Tidelife Vacation Rentals. The Island House was amazing, comfortable, clean and very well equipped for beach fun! The location Of Island House was perfect - access to the beach and island amenities was a breeze. Great location!Easy access to the beach and really nice to have use of beach chairs and bikes. There were just four of us, but the house has graat space for gathering a larger group together. There floor plan is open and has plenty of seating. It was very nice to have a master suite on the main floor as well as upstairs.

We had a wonderful stay at Island House. It was clean, cozy and close to the beach and the pool. The confederate jasmine was blooming in the hedge and the smell wafted over the front porch as we drank our morning coffee and cocktails on the front porch. Hummingbirds were visiting the bottle brush bushes, which were also blooming. The beds were comfortable and common area was engaging, with an open kitchen/dining area adjacent to the sitting area so that everyone could engage in conversation before, during and after meals.

Great long weekend with our family.

The house was very nice for our family and the manager was very easy to work with. The beach is very close and there a lot of walking trails throughout the neighborhood which was great for our dogs. Overall, a great stay!

Pawleys Island is less than 10 minutes away, and Georgetown is closer. Tidelife made this experience absolutely perfect and easy. The home was spotless, and checking in and out was effortless.
