Marsh Hawk 4B

Earlier this summer my daughter and I stayed in this unit and we enjoyed it so much I talked my husband into coming for a week in August. The condo was very clean, has plenty of room, and a relaxing marsh view screened in porch. Lovely for morning coffee. I would definitely come back again.

Tidelife staff was soooooo friendly and made check in/out super easy.

Our family had a wonderful stay in Marsh Hawk, 4B. We enjoyed it so much that we’re coming back in just a couple of months for a longer stay. The unit is nicely decorated and quite roomy. Having a screened in porch was a bonus and made for bug free mornings for coffee.

This residence has been my place of serenity for several years as I escape the harsh NE winters. This year I was treated to the surprise of a completely renovated kitchen! I have been privileged to spend my winter and spring here in Litchfield. The surroundings are so beautiful and having the beach within walking distance makes it magical. This unit is completely equipped to provide for a home away from home. The screen porch is a great place to relax with a good book as you enjoy the wildlife activity on the marsh outside. An extra plus is dealing with the staff at Tidelife, who are always ready to attend to any needs you may have. They treat you like an old friend!
The area outside the gates of Litchfield by the Sea is rich with activities and the best of restaurants, from Murrells inlet with its Marshwalk, the famed Brookgreen Garden, to the quaint shops in Pawleys Island, all minutes away. It’s easy to enjoy a stay here.

We loved the location. The unit was quite and in a great location. 100 steps to the pool or 1500 to the beach for those who love counting steps. This is the first rental unit I have ever rented that was pleasantly COLD inside and the refrigerator was still cold when we arrived. We loved Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort!!! Only improvements I can see were needed are some new cushions on the deck furniture and the sofa and love seat are showing some wear but that’s to be expected.

I've had the pleasure of enjoying my winter and spring as a long term renter here in Marsh Hawk 4B. This unit is spacious and sun filled, with a lovely view of the Marsh and its variety of birds that come and go every day. The unit is well equipt with a generous supply of linens and kitchen needs. Marsh Hawk is one of the clusters in Litchfield by the Sea, and provides access to the beach club, tennis courts, and all that is available in this well maintained gated resort. We have our own pool as well, with plenty of seating provided. The walking paths are great for exploring all around the resort. In fact, it's only a short walk from the unit to the beach describe the beach itself, it's the best on the coast!!
Any needs you have are addressed easily, with a shopping center across from the gate. You'll find a pharmacy, grocery store, a gym, and multiple restaurants right there. Travel south on 17, to Pawleys Island and you will spend days shopping, golfing, eating....just enjoying yourself.
There are several plantations to visit, and the beauty of Brookgreen Gardens is not to be missed. Travel north on 17 to Murrells Inlet and its famous Marshwalk
There are a few boat tours on the Inland waterway that are fun to try.
Needless to say, I truly enjoy my time here. Best wishes!.

Tidelife Realty is not only very professional, but extremely friendly and welcoming, always eager to please their customers. This unit is located in a highly desirable area, with access to a lovely beach club and the beautiful beach.
The unit has a wonderful view of the marsh, with its ever present wildlife. It's comfortable, well equipt, and close to many restaurants and attractions .

The location was good. It was a good 5 min drive to the beach and then a 5 min walk from the parking lot. The pool was insanely close, however we would have appreciated more lights in the pool area. I believe that had nothing to do with the owner of the condo, but wanted to point it out.

Lots of deferred maintenance on this condo. For what was paid, we were hoping for better. Moldy caulking and shower light didn't work. We all Would have appreciated a shower hose in the showers to rinse off the shower floor and walls from sand and soap. The dish washer is old, broken prongs and rusted. Still works though. The guest room attached to the bathroom had the SQUEEKIEST bed. We all could hear it. A teen slept on it and if she sneezed, it squeeked. The vents were pretty rusty which we thought was odd. Also, there were A LOT of personal belongings there...Like a legit picture of kids on the night stand by the bed which was awkward.

The plantation shutters, half were broken and I couldn't open them. The carpet was pretty rough. So was the furniture. The beds were OK, and I sept OK. Nothing compares to a bed at home though. Overall, we had a good vacation, but the management company def. needs to pay attention to maintenance.

This was our 3rd stay at Litchfield, each at a different building/rental type, with this one the first that we booked with VRBO and not directly from Litchfield. Rental was very comfortable for the 6 of us. Spacious, clean and updated throughout. And relaxing. Quiet spot with a 10 min walk to beach/pool.

And Tides Vacation Rental folks were very easy to deal with.

Overall it was a good stay. However, the full size bed was too small for two adults; TV was not working in two bedrooms; kitchen cabinets items, classes, silverware, pots and pans need to be purged; and the windows needed cleaning from the inside out; and finally cobwebs from ceiling in bedrooms and throughout the house, especially at front door needed cleaning. The worst was one of the twin bed linen was soiled bottom and top sheets... NO laundry detergent was left to wash towels as stated; we brought detergent.

We loved staying at Marsh Hawk 4-B. It was the perfect getaway for our family. We arrived to a very clean "home" and were pleasantly surprised by how roomy and cozy it was. Our family loved how accessible it was to the beach (a short walk)

The location was absolutely perfect as it was just inside the community and very quiet.

Getting our keys from the vacation rental management was super easy and their staff was very helpful, answering all my questions.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

This was our first time at Litchfield by the Sea. The community is lovely, well-maintained and has a variety of housing options to choose from. We stayed in the Marsh Hawk area which was furthest from the beach, but extremely quiet and much less crowded than other areas. We barely saw anyone in our area while we were there, unlike areas closer to the beach which had a lot more guests. The unit was clean and provided many things you would not think to bring, but were helpful to have during our stay. Our kids were happy to have their own spaces and the screened in porch was used every day. We had a minor maintenance issue while we were there which was addressed fairly quickly. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return to this community in the future.

What a grand place to social distance!! Beautiful view, comfortable and well equipt in every way. The Tidelife staff is so warm and welcoming, it's like coming to my home away from home. The area surrounding this resort provides a large variety of restaurants, grocery stores, unique shops, and activities from fishing and beaching to visits to historic locations.

We LOVED our stay at Litchfield Marsh Hawk! Thanks to Suzanne for helping us with check-in and making sure we got everything ok. Such a lovely home and space with a great screened in porch to enjoy the marsh views. The ONLY thing that I would change was the bathroom shower curtain- just a liner and was held up with decorative hooks- not easy to pull with out pulling the while thing down. Easy to replace and with kids, a must!

We stayed in the condo for a long weekend while in town for a wedding. It's a great layout and really well stocked. The rental agency was wonderful to deal with as well.

We really enjoyed this condo. It was spacious and worked well for 6 adults. Tidelife was fantastic to work with- we will definitely use them again.

We recently stayed a couple of winter months at Marsh Hawk 4B and enjoyed the property for the following reasons -
- excellent location, a couple of minutes drive to shopping, great restaurants and sites to see
- within gated community, a lovely 10 minute walk to beach where there was a huge deck complete with loungers, rocking chairs and tables
- a 2 minute walk to quiet pool overlooking marsh
- spacious home with high ceilings
- screened-in sunny porch with great views of marsh
- clean home, with plentifully stocked kitchen incl. Keurig
- large master bedroom & large en-suite with jacuzzi
- quiet and efficient washer & dryer

Last but not least, Suazanne and her team at Tidelife Vacation Management was very efficient, detail-oriented and impressive regarding every aspect of our needs.

Great condo! Plenty of room for our our family of 5 plus 2 in-laws. Kitchen was fully stocked, living area was comfortable. Master suite was huge. Very clean.

We stayed here in Jan-Feb, getting away from the northern winter weather. Marsh Hawk is a great location overlooking the marsh, short distance to the ocean, beautifully landscaped with marsh birds outside your windows. It's near shops and enjoyable restaurants (Quigley's Pint & Plate, Captain John's, Rustic Table to mention only a few) and some great attractions (Huntington Beach State Park, Brookgreen Gardens, eg.). The attractively decorated condo is, overall, well maintained and in very good condition. It's pretty well stocked with linens, towels, and kitchenware. The washer/dryer combo is usable but will need to be replaced soon. Tidelife Rentals (Suzanne) was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely work with them again and would recommend this unit, as well as Tidelife, to others.

Our stay was absolutely great! The property was very efficient and well maintained. We will return to Litchfield and request this particular property. Just a short walk to the beach or a quick drive. Very accessible to Murrell Inlet.

Awesome week at Litchfield by the Sea!

This was the second year we rented this unit from tidewater and we will look forward to next year. Well stocked kitchen. 5 beds quiet and clean. What more could you want

My family and I love the place. The area is peaceful and fishing was right at out front door.I would refer marsh Hawk 4b to my friends .

We had a great weekend trip to the beach and stayed at Marsh Hawk for the second time. The location is our favorite and is close to the beach and golf. The unit that we stayed in was excellent layout with plenty of room. We like the open style of the kitchen and den area. It is in need of a fresh coat of paint on front door and walls coming into the unit and some upgrades to the TVs available. A couple of large screen TVs would greatly enhance this unit. We enjoyed the eating area on the screened in porch and large master bedroom.

Overall a very good and pleasant experience.

We were very pleased with our stay in Marsh Hawk 4B! The condo is well appointed, clean style, modern and lovely. High ceilings and big, open feel. The back porch is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy morning coffee! We so enjoyed the setting - nestled into the side of the marsh, birds flying in and out. We enjoyed walking through the beautifully manicured Litchfield community to the beach. And we had the close by Marsh Hawk pool all to ourselves a couple times over the course of our stay as well. Clean and refreshing! This rental is truly a gem!

The Marsh Hawk 4B condo was very nice and very clean We had a wonderful time and enjoyed staying in Litchfield by The Sea Resort. We will definitely stay here again. The condo had everything we needed except food of course. We are already looking forward to the next visit to Pawley's Island

Loved this condo even though we only stayed one night . Decorated so nice ! Only used master bedroom but the nicest bedding we have had in all our stays in different houses and condos for the last 15 years in this area . Bedding is important . Thank you for recognizing that !! Unit was immaculately cleaned . Again, we were so happy about that , having seen a lot . We would definitely stay here again .Suzanne so accommodating , let us have a later checkout since we were moving in our house and had refrigerated items.

Kitchen was well supplied with everything you would need (I would suggest you replace frying pans). Location was perfect we were able to ride golf cart to beach and grocery, the pool was 3 doors down and like having your own private pool. The beds are very comfortable and the master bath is amazing! I would suggest more comfortable cushions for the chairs on deck and a dimmer switch on the chandelier over table. The screened in porch is heaven, spent many mornings and evenings there.

It was our first trip to Myrtle Beach. It is actually south of Myrtle Beach which was nice because it is not as commercialized and there are less people.
We had great weather to enjoy the beach.
The only downside to the trip was the arrangements for check-in were not exactly as we expected. The arrangement was the keys would be in a drop box and we could check in anytime on Sunday. We arrived before 7 AM and the keys were not in the drop box. Which is very frustrating after a 14 hour drive. We could not reach anyone at the after hours number. We went to the beach and kept trying to reach someone. Finally, around 10 we were able to talk to someone to find out the room would be available in a couple hours due to the fact it was being cleaned because the previous guest decided to stay an extra night.
But, as I said, this was only a minor setback and we enjoyed the rest of the trip.
As far as the property itself, there are minor things throughout the house that need attention.

This condo is close to several good eating places and a supermarket, a twelve minute walk from the lovely ocean, set just off Rte17 within the community. It is an eight minute walk to the community restaurant , bar and coffee shop.The views over the marshland make for interesting bird watching.
The condo is spacious and well appointed.
