"On a Whim" is one of the best units in True Blue! This first floor unit is just steps from the pool and hot tub---making it a family favorite. Features include fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable furniture, breakfast bar, full size beds in all bedrooms (2 Queens and 1 King--can be split if needed), two full baths, screen porch and more. Master bedroom features access to screen porch, private bath, walk in closet and TV. The two guest bedrooms each have their own TV's and closets while sharing the hall bathroom. The unit also has a full size washer/dryer, coffee pot maker, cable TV and WIFI. Access to outside storage and selected beach items as well.
Located in the heart of Pawleys Island, this unit will provide you with a comfortable place to stay while you explore all that the area has to offer. The Hammock Coast of South Carolina offers wonderful dining, award winning golf courses, unique shopping experiences and of course, pristine beaches! While staying be sure to check out all that the True Blue Golf resort has to , 5 pools, golf at True Blue course and Caledonia as well as dining at both courses! The breakfast at the True Blue GrillRoom is one of the very best and you can even order it to go. After breakfast drive over to the beach, just across Highway 17 and see why the locals love it here. The actual Island is bordered by the Atlantic on the East and a tidal marsh (creek) to its West, making this a fishermen's paradise. You can rent kayaks from Pawleys Island Kayaks and paddle through the creek or hang your fishing pole over the North Causeway to see if the fish are biting. Be sure to watch for the Shrimp man during shrimp season, he will park on the corner in the parking lot of Pawleys Island Supply and sell FRESH shrimp by the is a local and visitor favorite---they always taste great and the price is unbeatable!
Be sure to take a drive 15 minutes South, to the historic seaport City of Georgetown. South Carolina's third oldest city which boasts oak-lined avenues, riverfront shopping and dining, a scenic Harborwalk, dozens of majestic antebellum mansions, and a rich history. Every October the city puts on a wonderful WOODEN BOAT SHOW where thousands flock to see unique boats from all over as well as watch wooden boats being built. It's a super family event.

The location is great, condo was pretty clean (the floor smelled like they used dirty mop water to clean it), the condo itself is very nice! Honestly, it is a great place but the rental company’s policies are a little threatening ($250 if you lose a plastic arm band for the pool, $500 if you aren’t out by check out time but they can’t guarantee they will have your place ready by check-in time). I appreciate that they are trying to keep the place nice and only want people staying that will take care of the the place but there is a distinct lack of hospitality in their policies. We had no problems however and I would recommend the place with a heads up to read everything carefully and be aware of the overly strict fines etc.

In order to keep our properties up to par and in great condition, we have to ensure that all policies are enforced and followed. If these policies were not put into place - it would then result in a terrible experience for our homeowners and our guests. Check-in times are never guaranteed with any property management company in the area and that has been for years on. We have never had an issue with 3PM check-in but we always like to prepare our guests with key communication. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and we hope you will come back and visit with us in the future!

We had several family members come to Pawleys to visit over a long Memorial Day weekend. The condo was clean and comfortable. We loved the location right by the pool and that it was a ground floor unit. The screen room has a great view to sit and drink your morning coffee. It was so nice that everyone had their own space and we will definitely rent again!

Stayed for a family wedding in Georgetown. Location was acceptable, probably better if your focus is Pawleys Island (closer). The condo itself was nicely furnished and very clean. But: TV remote was missing, other remotes had missing or dead batteries. Couldn't watch TV or access Netflix, etc. Not a big deal this trip as only a 2 night stay and we were mostly gone anyway.
Checkout "duties" fairly extensive with big fines listed if everything isn't done. If you want "all trash cans emptied" how about some trash bags? Want the dishes left clean, maybe some dish detergent and a rag would be nice? Little stuff but irritating. Finally, a big, big rush to be checked out by 10 AM and at 9:55 they weren't even in the office.

I needed a rental for family friends that were visiting. I found this rental through VRBO. I had initially had some trouble with the keys to the rental and the office staff was very accommodating and helpful with solving the issue. I will be dealing directly with the office if I need another rental. Again, the staff at the rental office was amazing!

The condo was in a perfect location. The condo was beautiful and clean with way more than you could hope for in a rental property. The staff were dealt with were friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues that were beyond anyone's control and the staff addressed them quickly and professionally. We had an excellent vacation and if we go back to this area we would try to stay in the same place. The condo had beautiful furnishings and was right on the golf course.

Plenty of room for 3 couples. Beautifully decorated and updated. Very close to top notch dining, golf, and the beach. The only issue we had was the company we rented from - our key wasn't in the drop box when we arrived, do we had to wait 20 mins on someone to bring us our welcome packet. Not a huge issue but still a hiccup. We will rent this condo again if we return to Pawleys Island.

This was our first Snowbird experience, and hopefully it will not be our last.
Our unit , On A Whim, at True Blue Golf Club was relaxing and very pleasant.
The unit itself is cozy yet spacious and decorated to my taste ! I felt right at home. It is convenient to shopping and the beach.
The rental agent, Suzanne, is a delight to work with ! She is friendly and always available for your questions or request.
Our stay is coming to an end, but we will be anxious to return for another 3 months in 2017.

We had a wonderful time at this condo and it was decorated very was perfect for the size we needed. We used the pool and hot tub each evening. We enjoyed the tennis courts and walked each day. When we walked in the neighborhood, I wish there were sidewalks to use as we walked in the grass beside the road to stay safe. The beach is not too far from the condo. Luckily, we were able to find parking at the beach but got the last space at the south end parking lot of Pawley's island. There were lots of cars circling and searching for a space to park. When picking up the key, the rental agent was extremely helpful.
